Abstract
In 2012, Cló Mhaigh Eo published a graphic novel version of Myles na gCopaleen’s satirical work An Béal Bocht. Adapted from the original by Colmán Ó Raghallaigh and edited by Breandán Ó Conaire, author of Myles na Gaeilge (1986), the book features the frenetic, playful, and often painfully visceral artwork of John McCloskey. Here, The Parish Review speaks with McCloskey and Ó Conaire about the experience.
