Abstract
This article explores Brian O’Nolan’s apparent interest in the French philosopher and Jesuit priest, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. From the observation that O'Nolan's library at Boston College contains copies of Teilhard de Chardin’s The Phenomenon of Man and The Future of Man, the articles explores the parallels between De Selby in The Dalkey Archive and the work of Teilhard de Chardin, including a shared desire for convergence with the divine in which salvation and annihilation meet.
